Italian designer Laura Biagiotti has died age 73 in Rome.She died as a result of a heart attack.Her death was announced by her daughter Laviania Biagiotti  Cigna via twitter.She will be fondly remembered for her soft,loose women's cloths and luxury knitwear.

The world Health Organization has elected an Ethiopian Dr.Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus as it's new director general.Dr Ghebreyesus served as Ethiopia's minister of health between 2005 and 2012.He warded off competition from candidates from the United kingdom and Pakistan.He takes over from Margaret Chan who has served two tenures over a span of 10 years as director general.

22 year old Salman Abedi of South Manchester a British born Libyan has been named as the suicide bomber who killed 22 and injured dozens others in an attack at an Ariana Grande concert at the Manchester Arena in .Manchester England.He had just recently returned from Libya and had made several trips to Libya previously.He is said to have received secret terror training in Syria.
